With many of the factors of highest priority to the retiring baby boomer, results show that the direction in which they are pointing to move is SWFL homes in particular; above any other area in Florida. With the perfect mix of weather, affordability, population size and quality of facilities, Southwest Florida is unique within the state. Florida’s lack of state income tax also help set it apart from other popular sun destinations.
